There's no place like home for Williamsport, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Danville Ironmen by a score of 70-62 on Wednesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Millionaires' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Ironmen are ranked 104th).

Several Ironmen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Walker, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Walker's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Morrison, who went 7 of 12 to rack up 17 points.

Williamsport's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Williamsport will take on Loyalsock Township at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Williamsport is facing Loyalsock Township at the right time seeing as Loyalsock Township is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Danville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-51 victory against Selinsgrove on the 7th.
