Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Cardinals vs. Freedom Eagles

The Gainesville Cardinals will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Freedom Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Gainesville will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Osbourn on Friday. Gainesville breezed by Osbourn to the tune of 66-30.

Meanwhile, Freedom came up short against Patriot on Friday and fell 66-55. The Eagles have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Freedom now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Gainesville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
