The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 victory over Florence. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Banning Lewis Academy considering their 23-point performance the contest before.

Banning Lewis Academy was led to victory by Joseph Bjegovich and Kobe Welch. Bjegovich scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Welch scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Welch has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Jones, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Banning Lewis Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Florence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy will square off against The Vanguard School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in The Vanguard School's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Florence, they will head out on the road to challenge Colorado Springs Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
