Volleyball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clayton lost against West Johnston last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Comets fell 3-1 to the Wildcats.

Clayton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

Landis Williams was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Clayton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Johnston, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Clayton will take on Corinth Holders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Johnston, they will face off against East Wake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
