Basketball Recap: Jumpertown Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Jumpertown took on Houlka on Friday. The Jumpertown Cardinals were dealt a 71-42 loss at the hands of the Houlka Wildcats. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Elijah Foster continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Houlka, going 11 for 13 en route to 22 points and eight boards. Foster has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dee Simon, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points and six assists.

Jumpertown's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Houlka, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Jumpertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Houlka has already played their next match (against Smithville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
