While Nelsonville-York put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Oak Hill. The Buckeyes put the hurt on the Oaks with a sharp 12-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Buckeyes, who have now won six contests in a row.

Emmie Fowler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Paisley Stadler, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Nelsonville-York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Nelsonville-York pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Oak Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Nelsonville-York will be playing at home against Miller at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something the Buckeyes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oak Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Symmes Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Oaks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
