Basketball Recap: Bushnell-Prairie City Comes Up Short

Bushnell-Prairie City was the 51-23 winner over West Prairie when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Prairie Cyclones on Wednesday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bushnell-Prairie City's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for West Prairie, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-19 record.

Bushnell-Prairie City and Biggsville West Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Bushnell-Prairie City is facing Biggsville West Central at the right time seeing as Biggsville West Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Prairie, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Macomb at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
