Basketball Game Preview: Seventy-First Falcons vs. South View Tigers

The Seventy-First Falcons will square off against the South View Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seventy-First will be strutting in after a victory while South View will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, everything went Seventy-First's way against Topsail as Seventy-First made off with a 67-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seventy-First to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kariana Williams, who posted 18 points. Alani-Skye Wilkerson was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Meanwhile, South View unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to New Hanover.

South View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Seventy-First, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Seventy-First came up short against South View in their previous meeting back in January, falling 57-52. Can Seventy-First avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
