Basketball Recap: Arapaho Indians vs. Cheyenne/Reydon Bears
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hammon, Arapaho was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 39-34 W over the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 34-31 loss the last time these two teams met.
Cheyenne/Reydon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimbo Denney, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Rossi Baker, who had nine points.
The victory got Arapaho back to even at 1-1. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4.
