Baseball Recap: Klamath Union Has No Trouble Against Neah-Kah-Nie

Klamath Union had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Neah-Kah-Nie on Wednesday. Klamath Union was the clear victor by a 22-7 margin over Neah-Kah-Nie. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Pelicans this season.

Reese Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. Johnson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Pj Safford, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ryan Glidden, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Klamath Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
