Basketball Recap: Bensalem Gets the Win

Bensalem's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past the Council Rock North Indians with a 46-41 win. The Fighting Owls haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Council Rock North, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Bensalem and Council Rock North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Fighting Owls (ranked 337th) will meet Holy Ghost Prep (ranked 32nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Council Rock North will take on Neshaminy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (384 vs. 113).
