Baseball Recap: Gulf Breeze Takes a Loss

Gulf Breeze and Chiles squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gulf Breeze had to settle for second. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-4 defeat on Thursday.

Gulf Breeze saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for Gulf Breeze and nudges their season record down to 16-12. As for Chiles, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-12.

As of now, neither Gulf Breeze nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
