Recap: Heritage Christian Patriots vs. Kingdom Prep Lutheran Wolfpack
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Heritage Christian Patriots ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 63-62 win over Kingdom Prep Lutheran. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Heritage Christian has scored all season.
It was another big night for Desmond Jones, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Miller, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Heritage Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Kingdom Prep Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Heritage Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bishops at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kingdom Prep Lutheran, they will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
