Basketball Recap: Guilford Park Drops Highest Score of Season Against Atholton

Guilford Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 80-54 to the Atholton Raiders. One positive for the Panther, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Guilford Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Atholton, they moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Guilford Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Long Reach at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Atholton, they will square off against Marriotts Ridge on Monday.
