Baseball Recap: Pierce City Takes a Loss

Pierce City was the 10-9 winner over Miller when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Pierce City's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Miller, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Pierce City is taking a road trip to challenge Lockwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Miller, they will welcome Ash Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
