Basketball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Takes a Loss

Cincinnati Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 68-43 to the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-50 back in December of 2024.

Gavin French continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Miami Valley Christian Academy, going 8 for 10 on his way to 25 points. Another player making a difference was Casey Heap, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Cincinnati Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian will welcome St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miami Valley Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Cincinnati Country Day), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
