Football Recap: Clarksville Academy Starts off Right with Win over Hunters Lane + How To Watch

Clarksville Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Hunters Lane Warriors. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

Ethan Bones had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 50 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 110 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (153.3). Jayden Ladner was another key player, rushing for 45 yards and two TDs.

Coming up, Clarksville Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Fort Campbell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hunters Lane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McGavock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
