Baseball Recap: Essex Comes Up Short

Essex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-2 to the Fremont-Mills Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-4 back in June.

Essex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Fremont-Mills, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-10.

Coincidentally, Essex and Fremont-Mills will both be playing East Mills the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host East Mills on Thursday, while the Knights will head out to face them on Saturday.
