Baseball Recap: Passaic Valley Comes Up Short

The Passaic Valley Hornets came up short against the Ramsey Rams on Thursday, falling 11-2. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Passaic Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Liotti, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Passaic Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Ramsey, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Passaic Valley will face off against Passaic County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Ramsey, they will square off against Paramus at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Spartans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
