Volleyball Recap: Port Gibson Comes Up Short

Port Gibson lost against McComb back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Waves lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Blue Waves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Port Gibson now has a losing record of 7-8. As for McComb, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Port Gibson will be playing at home against St. Patrick at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McComb, they will face off against Pass Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
