Mountain Pointe won the last time they faced Sunrise Mountain and things went their way on Friday too. The Pride came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 67-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pride.

Despite the loss, Sunrise Mountain still got an impressive performance from Carter Pendelton, who posted 13 points. Steven Brown was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.

Mountain Pointe's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Mountain Pointe will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. The matchup will give the Pride their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dobson at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
