Arroyo has gone 8-2 against Tennyson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Arroyo Dons are taking a road trip to challenge the Tennyson Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Arroyo is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Arroyo ended up a good deal behind Kennedy and lost 55-37. The matchup marked the Dons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tennyson). They enjoyed a cozy 63-48 victory over Averroes on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Lancers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tennyson's win came from a few key players Arroyo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was James Walker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 12 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Matthew Lorje, who posted 16 points and five steals.

Tennyson's record is now 6-11. As for Arroyo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Arroyo and Tennyson were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but Arroyo came up empty-handed after a 57-56 defeat. Can Arroyo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
