Football Recap: Tyler Legacy Raiders vs. North Forney Falcons
Tyler Legacy lost against North Forney back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders were beaten by the Falcons 71-19. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Falcons are ranked 41st).
North Forney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Legend Bey, who threw for 189 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, and also rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. That's the most passing yards Bey has posted since back in November of 2024. Cordai Woodard was another key rusher, rushing for 151 yards and one score on only 14 carries.
This is the second loss in a row for Tyler Legacy and nudges their season record down to 2-4. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-1 Rockwall-Heath (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 90% over those games). As for North Forney, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Meanwhile, North Forney will take on rival Rockwall-Heath at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Bey and Prosper Neal.
