Soccer Recap: Nipomo Takes a Loss

Nipomo managed to keep up with Arroyo Grande until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Nipomo Titans might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Arroyo Grande Eagles an easy 3-0 victory. The Titans have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Nipomo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Nipomo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Santa Maria at 1:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Arroyo Grande also won't see the pitch for a while: their next matchup is against Righetti at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
