Basketball Recap: Bangs Comes Up Short

Bangs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 37-13 to the Roscoe Plowboys. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1125th, while the Plowboys are ranked 355th).

Bangs' loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Roscoe, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Bangs will be playing in front of their home fans against Colorado at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Roscoe, they will venture away from home to challenge Ballinger at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
