Basketball Recap: Tucker Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Tucker won the last time they faced North Springs and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers took down the Spartans 75-60. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Spartans are ranked 313th).

Tucker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adarian Johnson out in front who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Glenewinkel, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards.

Tucker pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for North Springs, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Tucker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-48 defeat against Southwest DeKalb on the 12th. As for North Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-31 victory against Druid Hills on the 9th.
