Volleyball Recap: Strath Haven Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Strath Haven duked it out with Cardinal O'Hara on Monday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Lions. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in September of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Strath Haven started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Strath Haven's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cardinal O'Hara, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Strath Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Haverford on the 25th. Cardinal O'Hara has also already played their next match (against Conwell-Egan Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
