Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Find Success

Jenkins hadn't done well against New Hampstead recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 2-0. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Phoenix, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

While Jenkins won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-23.

Aniah Douglas was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six aces.

The win got Jenkins back to even at 2-2. As for New Hampstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jenkins will head out on the road to square off against Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hampstead, they will square off against The Habersham School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight.
