Softball Recap: Las Vegas Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Las Vegas's offense. They came up short against the Mojave Rattlers on Tuesday, falling 13-0. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

Las Vegas suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Mojave, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Las Vegas will head out to take on Foothill at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mojave, they will venture away from home to square off against Desert Oasis at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Diamondbacks have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
