Softball Recap: Ashe County Huskies vs. Hibriten Panthers

Ashe County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hibriten Panthers, falling 7-1. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ashe County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maleah Lovell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Ally Greer also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
