Softball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains vs. Calvert Senecas

Hopewell-Loudon can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Calvert Senecas. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hopewell-Loudon also won the last time the pair played on April 9th.

Isabelle Beidelschies made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Beidelschies has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Beidelschies was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addy Seibenaller, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sidney Brickner, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
