Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic fell victim to North Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 1-0. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Ryan Tatar was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

Central Catholic has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for North Hills, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Central Catholic by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
