Soccer Recap: Marist Falls Short of Andrew in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marist can now relate to. They came up short against the Andrew Thunderbolts on Friday, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for Marist in their meetings with Andrew: they've now lost three in a row.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-2. As for Andrew, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-2 record this season.

Marist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrew, they will face off against Lincoln-Way Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln-Way Central will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Andrew surely won't give up without a fight.
