Jordan took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Leesville Road Pride 3-2. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jordan was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (99-95), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 13-25, 15-8.

Despite the loss, Leesville Road still got an impressive performance from Taylor Pasternak, who had 15 digs and four aces.

Leesville Road's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Jordan will be taking part in a tournament against West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leesville Road, they will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
