Baseball Recap: Grafton Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grafton had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Middleborough Sachems by a score of 14-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.

Grafton got a massive performance out of Charlie Law, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four runs gave Law a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylan Oberg, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Grafton's record now sits at 15-6. As for Middleborough, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Grafton will face off against Walpole at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Middleborough does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
