Basketball Recap: Waynedale Comes Up Short

Waynedale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-44 loss at the hands of the Central Christian Comets. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Waynedale's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Central Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waynedale will venture away from home to challenge Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Christian, they are taking a road trip to take on Lucas at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
