            Baseball Preview: Flint Hill Huskies vs. St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Flint Hill will face off against St. Andrew's Episcopal. The Huskies will host the Lions  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The timing is sure in Flint Hill's favor as the  squad sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while St. Andrew's Episcopal has been banged up by 14 consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
While Flint Hill's  win against St. Andrew's Episcopal wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  victory over the Lions  on Monday.

 Marshall Johnson tossed a big game,   pitching six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Brennan Lublin, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Jake Blazejowski was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 Flint Hill has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
