Volleyball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Comes Up Short

Mid-Buchanan entered their contest against Lawson on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Dragons fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mid-Buchanan actually scored more points across those five sets (107-106), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 19-25, 15-13.

Tatum Moss paced Mid-Buchanan's offense, picking up 22 kills. Moss got some help from Myia Dillman and her 51 assists. Camryn Atha controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mid-Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 17-11-4. As for Lawson, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-5-2.

Mid-Buchanan has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against North Platte on the 16th. As for Lawson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lathrop on the 16th.
