The Liberty Raiders will be taking part in a tournament against the James Monroe Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

James Monroe will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Liberty extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Mavericks 7-5.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for James Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.
