Baseball Recap: Eagle Falls Short Against Ranked Owyhee

Eagle faced Owyhee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Storm by a score of 4-3. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Storm earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Eagle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Zawadzki, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Owyhee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-2.

While Eagle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
