Basketball Recap: Middletown's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-52 to the Princeton Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Middies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 85-75 last Tuesday.

Middletown's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. As for Princeton, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Middletown and Princeton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Middletown will challenge Mason at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 364 places (73 vs. 437). Middletown is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Princeton (ranked 30th) will meet Oak Hills (ranked 121st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
