Volleyball Preview: Douglass Eagles vs. Central Falcons
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles dukes it out withthe Central Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Douglass will be strutting in after a victory while Central will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Douglass made easy work of Fairmont Heights and carried off a 3-0 win.
Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Gwynn Park, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-13.
Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
