Basketball Recap: Wellington School Takes a Loss

Wellington School lost against Columbus School for Girls back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wellington School Jaguars came up short against the Columbus School for Girls Unicorns, falling 41-18. The match marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jeanie Desantis was Wellington School's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Dea Singh held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Wellington School moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Columbus School for Girls, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Wellington School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-29 victory against Patriot Prep Academy on the 22nd. Columbus School for Girls has also already played their next match, a 52-29 win against Millersport on the 15th.
