Basketball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Tri-West Hendricks ended up a good deal behind Triton Central and lost 65-51.

Tri-West Hendricks' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Miller, who posted 14 points, and Parker Gibson, who scored eight points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Parker Anderson, who earned two points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Lafayette Jefferson played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Indianapolis Shortridge an easy 70-50 win. The Bronchos were down 60-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Tri-West Hendricks now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Tri-West Hendricks couldn't quite get it done against Lafayette Jefferson when the teams last played back in December of 2024 as they fell 55-44. Can the Bruins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
