Cottonwood skates past Hillcrest with ease

Make it five blowout wins for the Cottonwood Colts this season. They blew past Hillcrest 66-14 on the road. That looming 66-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cottonwood yet this season.
Cottonwood can attribute much of their success to Avea Van der beek, who scored 16 points. Van der beek continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Caton, who scored 14 points.
Cottonwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Hillcrest, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Cottonwood will look to defend their home court on Friday against Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. As for Hillcrest, they will head out on the road to square off against Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tooele is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
