The Boaz Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the St. John Paul II Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boaz is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Boaz's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Pennington, posting a 41-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six games by 22 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Peyton Hall, who threw for 143 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushed for 32 yards and a pair of TDs. Those four passing touchdowns gave her a new career-high. Raina Underwood was in the mix as well, providing Boaz with two scores.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II fell victim to Pennington and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of the Tigers.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Boaz, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Boaz against St. John Paul II when the teams last played back in September, as the squad secured a 61-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
