After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pitkin, Westlake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Midland Rebels. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Westlake's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.8 runs. As for Midland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Westlake will welcome Lake Charles College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westlake is facing Lake Charles College Prep at the right time seeing as Lake Charles College Prep is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Midland, they will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midland has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
