Baseball Recap: Holy Name Gets the Win

The Holy Name Green Wave had just enough and edged out the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles 4-2 on Saturday.

Russell Masetta looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Ismael Sostre, Jr. was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Holy Name's record is now 5-6-1. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Name will host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, they will welcome Norwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
