The victory made it two in a row for Stonewall and bumps their season record up to 16-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Oilton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Stonewall has already played their next game, a 12-4 victory against Mulhall-Orlando on the 12th. As for Oilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-4 win against Coyle on the 12th.
