Basketball Recap: Beacon Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Beacon Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They took a 44-30 bruising from the North Shore Country Day Raiders. The Trailblazers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

North Shore Country Day was led to victory by Kaeden Ackley and Emeka Ogbolumani. Ackley posted 12 points, while Ogbolumani earned ten points. Another player making a difference was Quentin Tao, who had six points.

Beacon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for North Shore Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Beacon Academy has already played their next contest, a 71-35 win against Cruz on the 10th. As for North Shore Country Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-42 victory against Latin on the 10th.
